Being active in middle age can be a challenge. Where do I find the time? How do I know what to do? Will I get hurt? And that’s all before you begin looking around, where you see tons of images and messages that don’t include people who look like you. So you end up doing nothing at all or doing something you don’t really love just to check “work out” off the list.
That’s where I come in. If life is a game, then you’re starting your second half. And everyone knows that games are won in the second half! I provide my clients with a safe place to explore what “being active” means to them so that they can develop their Second Half Strategy. We then work together to implement that strategy with support and accountability so that you can feel strong, empowered, and vibrant every day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Coaching Right For Me? It is if you…
- …are having trouble choosing which path to take
- …know what you want to achieve but can’t quite get there
- …need space to explore what is holding you back
Am I A Busy Gen Xer?
If you don’t think your schedule can stand another wafer thin mint and you identify, however loosely, as a GenXer, then I would say, “Yes!”
Can’t I Just Do A Free Couch To 5K Plan?
Can you find one on the internet? Sure! There are tons to choose from. You could sign up for a gym membership or vow to get up at 5:30 AM every day to exercise. Saying you’re going to do it and actually doing it are two different things. My coaching helps you turn intentions in to actions.
Will We Do Workouts Together?
I am not a personal trainer, so I won’t teach you how to do a squat. We will spend time on how your thoughts affect your workout, how the energy you bring to your goals affects how well you do, and how any other influences in your life affect you.
